Photographer Tod Hido

Tod Hido takes his medium format camera out at night into the suburbs. What he finds is a cinematic landscape void of people yet hinting at there presence. He shoots in a documentary style but prints like painter, letting his own vision of the place show through.

Photographer John Gossage

John Gossage, Pond, Gossage focused his camera on a pond on the edge of America's cities and suburbs. He photographed what he thought was something of genuine beauty without idealizing it. He claims his photos have no message for change but hopes to transmit experience of a place and time beyond a documentary look at the world.
